Job Description
As a Data Analyst, you will manage the full analytics lifecycle—data acquisition, cleansing, modelling, visualisation, and reporting. The role places strong emphasis on statistical analysis, business intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver insights that drive business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct statistical analyses and build data models to support decision-making.
- Perform advanced programming and quantitative analysis using Python, R, or SAS.
- Present insights via dashboards, reports, and stakeholder briefings.
- Identify trends and patterns that inform strategy, product development, and operations.
- Collaborate with business teams to convert datasets into actionable recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance in all processes.
- Create automated reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Support forecasting, KPI measurement, and performance tracking.
- Document processes and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
Required Technologies and Tools
- Python, R, or SAS for statistical programming
- SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- BI/Visualisation tools: Power BI, Tableau, Looker
- Advanced Excel (functions, pivot tables, macros)
- Data cleaning and ETL processes
- (Optional) Big Data tools: Hadoop, Spark, or cloud analytics platforms
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in data analysis or business intelligence
- Proven ability to interpret, model, and present data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated experience applying insights to improve business outcomes, product development, or operational efficiency
