Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (Employer provided, pro-rata for part-time)
Overview
The Data Assistant will provide data processing support for the qFIT Team within the colorectal service. Responsibilities include:
- Data entry and supporting results from qFIT screening.
- Following up on patients who have been sent qFIT.
- Tracking patient outcomes as necessary.
- Scanning, verifying, and filing documents.
- Photocopying and general administrative support.
The role ensures the efficient, accurate, and up-to-date provision of clinical data to support patient care, clinical governance, and service development.
Requirements
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of data processing.
- Legal permission to work in the United Kingdom (UKVI requirements apply).
- PVG Scheme membership/record. If not already a member, successful applicants will need to apply through Disclosure Scotland.
- Awareness that legislative changes from 1 April 2025 may require a different level of criminal records check.
