Data Entry Clerk – NHS AfC: Band 2

Contract: Permanent, Part-time (30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, flexible across 4 or 5 days)
Salary: £24,465 per annum (pro rata)

Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Entry Clerk to join the Patient Experience Team at NCIC. This role involves entering patient feedback data, managing compliments, and supporting the team with general administrative duties.
Main Duties
- Accurate data entry into the patient experience tool
- Record compliments via Microsoft Excel
- Open and distribute incoming mail
- Prepare posters using IQVIA data (printing and laminating)
- Maintain the team’s email inbox
- Monitor free text comments and national feedback websites
- Provide patient feedback reports in PDF format when requested
- Post leaflets, questionnaires, and surveys to patients/services
- Collect and manage patient feedback surveys from wards and outpatient areas
- File documents in line with Trust policy
- Take meeting notes and support ad-hoc admin tasks
- Maintain confidentiality and safe handling of information
Person Specification
Essential Requirements:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths OR relevant work experience
- Previous file management and office administration experience
- Strong organisational and IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to handle confidential data accurately
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player with a willingness to learn and develop
