Job Description

Join Barclays as a Data Integrity Analyst within the Wholesale Lending capital management team. You will implement data quality processes and procedures to ensure that data relating to Wholesale Lending risk, capital, and business activity is reliable and trustworthy. From there, you will extract actionable insights that improve operations, optimise resources, and strengthen balance sheet management.

This role also involves overseeing and implementing operational and transaction management processes related to balance sheet optimisation activities.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Confidence in engaging with stakeholders across all levels, including front office

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

  • Regulatory reporting experience
  • Understanding of capital, returns, and credit risk modelling (RWA, RoRWA, PD, LGD, EAD)
  • Working knowledge of CRR regulations (AIRB and Standardised approaches)
  • Practical experience with databases (e.g., SQL)
  • Experience in business analysis tasks: gathering requirements, issue investigation, documentation, and testing solutions

  • Investigate and analyse data quality, lineage, controls, and source identification issues
  • Perform data cleansing and transformation
  • Design and build automated data pipelines
  • Apply advanced analytics, including machine learning and AI, to solve business problems
  • Document findings and provide recommendations for improvement
