Overview
Oxford Population Health (the Nuffield Department of Population Health) provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research, teaching, and professional development.
We are seeking a Data Wrangler/Analyst to join the Awadalla Lab, an internationally recognised team with expertise in tool development, data collection, and multi-omic data analysis from international sources.
The role involves processing, analysing, and managing genomic/’-omic’ and health-related data from a variety of sources, including population cohort data, single-cell, and imaging data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining complex data pipelines
- Validating and documenting data and analysis results
- Performing analyses to support operational, discovery, and translational research
- Building and improving analytical tools for biomedical data
Candidate Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- A MSc in a scientific or numerate subject, or equivalent experience
- Substantial experience in data analysis
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Experience with genomic and health-related datasets (desirable)
