About the Role
UCL’s Department of Neuromuscular Diseases seeks a Database Manager / Trials Coordinator to:
- Manage databases for inherited neuropathies, particularly Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT)
- Coordinate the new multicentre trial readiness programme, TRANSFORM-CMT
- Support research nurses with data entry and database setup
- Collate and manage regulatory documentation ensuring compliance with UK and international regulations
- Prepare ethics and R&D submissions, liaise with UK trial centres, and support audits/inspections
- Coordinate patient visits to UCL
This role is available from 1 October 2025, initially for one year, with potential extension.
About You
You will have:
- A degree (or equivalent) in biomedical sciences, or substantial experience in clinical trial data management/trial coordination
- Experience managing clinical or patient databases in a medical/research environment
- Understanding of ethical issues in clinical research and patient involvement
- Excellent communication, teamworking, interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail
