Job Description
Daytime Healthcare is working in partnership with a leading private hospital near Kingston Upon Thames to recruit a passionate and skilled Surgical Nurse to join their Day Unit team.
This is a part-time position (25 hours/week), ideal for candidates looking for flexible hours in a premium healthcare setting.
Surgical Nurse Responsibilities
- Manage patient care, ensuring safe, effective treatment and efficient resource use.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and colleagues.
- Maintain and develop clinical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Deliver high standards of care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- RGN with active NMC Pin (no restrictions on practice)
- Minimum 12 months of recent post-registration surgical nursing experience
(Newly qualified nurses may also be considered) - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong commitment to patient care and service quality
- Teaching and mentoring experience preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
