Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Design Assistant to join Sweaty Betty’s talented design team. Reporting to an experienced Designer, you will support the creation of world-class performance apparel and contribute to the impactful look that loyal customers know and love.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design team across product lines, including overview management, PLM maintenance, lab dip approvals, and general design assistance
- Create design packs using Adobe Illustrator while working to internal deadlines and critical paths
- Ensure technical packs are completed accurately and approved on time
- Develop a strong understanding of the Sweaty Betty customer through store visits, trade analysis, and customer feedback
- Build positive working relationships with Buying, Garment Tech, Product Development, and other cross-functional teams
- Contribute to organizational strategy and individual team goals
- Provide effective administrative support with excellent time management
- Work independently with a growth mindset while actively contributing to the team
The Must-Haves
- Previous experience using Adobe Illustrator (essential)
- Strong CAD drawing skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Suite, and Outlook
- Understanding of building and maintaining BOMs within PLM (preferred)
- Degree in Fashion Design or Fashion Sportswear
- Approachable, friendly, and an excellent communicator
Salary
£34,420 – £36,898.78 per year
