Overview
Join a busy and growing device repair and technical support shop offering repairs and IT support to home users and small businesses. This role combines hands-on repairs, desktop support, customer service, and on-site assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st & 2nd line support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices & networks
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity & printing issues
- Install/ configure OS, applications, updates & patches
- Build/optimise laptops & desktops
- Set up Wi-Fi, routers & small networks
- Maintain service records
- Carry out device repairs: screens, batteries, charging ports, diagnostics
- Conduct quality testing & assist with data migration
- Maintain a clean, organised workshop
Skills & Experience
- Experience in IT support or device repair
- Confident with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android
- Strong diagnostics ability across devices
- Understanding of Wi-Fi, routers & small office networks
- Excellent customer service & communication
- Certifications in repair/IT are a plus
