Who We Are
Rivo is a loyalty and referrals platform built exclusively for Shopify, helping 8–9 figure eCommerce brands increase revenue and customer retention. We’re a fast-moving, mission-driven remote team of around 20 people, with backgrounds at Shopify, GitHub, Amazon, InVision, and more.
About the Role
This is a hybrid design + front-end development role, embedded directly within our Customer Success team. You’ll work alongside Customer Success Managers and onboarding leads to help global eCommerce brands create beautifully branded loyalty and referral experiences using Rivo.
You’ll handle design requests, often via Slack, and bring them to life across customer touchpoints using our builder tools and native components. Your workflow will span Figma design, front-end development, brand communication, and implementation.
This role is perfect for a creative technologist who designs sleek experiences and codes them using HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid.
Responsibilities
- Design and build branded loyalty landing pages and account components
- Translate brand guidelines into high-fidelity Figma mockups
- Implement responsive, mobile-first layouts using HTML/CSS and Liquid
- Collaborate directly with brands via Slack and video to understand their goals
- Own front-end lifecycle: ideation → mockup → approval → implementation → QA
- Provide UX feedback across Product, CS, and Engineering teams
Who You Are
- A hybrid designer–developer comfortable working directly with clients
- Strong in both visual design and front-end development best practices

Requirements
- 2+ years of web design and front-end development experience
- Strong HTML & CSS skills (including responsive/mobile-first layouts)
- Figma proficiency (production-ready designs)
- Shopify/Shopify Plus experience with theme editing and Liquid templating
- Client or stakeholder communication experience
- Understanding of brand systems and design consistency
Requirements
- Experience with no-code/low-code page builders
- Familiarity with Shopify metafields and Storefront APIs
- Basic JavaScript or jQuery
- Experience in agency or high-volume onboarding environments
