 Overview

SSL is seeking a reliable and committed Domestic Assistant to provide a high-quality cleaning and domestic service at the Warstock Lane Centre. The role supports a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for service users and staff.

Post & Hours

  • Role: Domestic Assistant
  • Base: Warstock Lane Centre
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
    (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 2:00pm)
  • Salary:
    • £20,157.97 per annum (30 hours)
    • £25,197.47 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent)

Health & Safety

Key Responsibilities – General

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Safely operate cleaning equipment following training
  • Collect and dispose of waste appropriately
  • Carry out pantry and kitchen duties as required
  • Undertake specialist and isolation cleaning
  • Manage stock and cleaning supplies
  • Follow infection prevention and control procedures

Key Responsibilities – Individual

  • Participate in appraisal and development processes
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Support the induction of new staff
  • Comply with Trust and statutory policies
  • Contribute to service objectives
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties appropriate to the role
  • Follow safeguarding procedures
  • Test staff attack alarm at the start of each shift
