Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic professional with real-world English language teaching experience to help craft engaging materials for adult English language learners worldwide. The Editor will work collaboratively within an international team to deliver Cambridge’s ambitious publishing plan for Higher Education/Adult, creating both digital and print content that builds on our reputation as a leading ELT publisher.

About You

You have:

  • Solid teaching experience and strong pedagogical judgment
  • Skills in designing and delivering instructional materials across print and digital formats
  • Ability to adapt content for diverse markets and institutions
  • Excellent communication skills for working with freelancers and team members
  • Comfort working collaboratively in virtual environments
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Analytical thinking and confidence in developing and evaluating core materials
  • Experience managing art, photos, audio, video, and digital content
  • Proficiency with current software tools and adaptability to new systems
  • CELTA qualification or equivalent (desirable; editorial training provided)
