Overview

Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) – Global Network Services (GNS) is responsible for the engineering, development, and operation of Deutsche Bank’s global network, spanning 2,500+ offices in 50 countries.

As a NetDevOps Engineer, you will lead complex network deployments, work with cross-functional teams, and drive innovation in automation, scalability, and network availability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and deploy network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless)
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
  • Automate deployment and monitoring with scripting and configuration management tools
  • Optimise performance, reduce latency, and improve scalability/security
  • Analyse current network deployments and propose improvements
  • Influence technical direction by recommending innovative solutions and architectures

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in corporate global networks (financial sector preferred)
  • Strong understanding of protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, VXLAN)
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet hardware or similar
  • Proficiency in automation tools, scripting (YAML/JSON/Python), and Git
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (or willingness to learn)
  • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
