Female Personal Care Assistant (24 hrs/week) – Burnley (BB10) – £13.50/hr (£26.3k FTE)
Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Female Care/Support Worker to join our team supporting a friendly client living with a developmental disability and a condition similar to Cerebral Palsy, in the BB10 area of Burnley.
About the Role:
You’ll provide 1:1 support within the client’s home and local community, helping them live an independent, fulfilling life. While our client is non-verbal, they are highly engaged and enjoy arts & crafts, Disney, shopping, and getting out and about locally.
Hours:
24 hours/week on a rolling 4-week rota:
- Week 1: Wed & Thurs (8am–8pm)
- Week 2: Fri & Sun (8am–8pm)
- Week 3: Fri (8am–8am, 24hr shift)
- Week 4: Mon (8am–8am, 24hr shift)
Ad-hoc hours may be required.

Experience
- Experience in a similar care/support role
- Skills in PEG care, hoisting, and medication handling
- Excellent communication and organisation
