About the Role
Fitch Group is seeking a Financial Data Analyst (Corporates) to join our Manchester office. This role sits within the Data Operations team, responsible for collecting and extracting fundamental financial data used across Fitch Group.
You will analyse corporate financial reports, extract key data from balance sheets, income statements, and related notes, and support client queries both internally and externally.

Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret financial data from corporate reports in line with Fitch methodology.
- Respond to financial data queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Recommend and support process improvements for data capture and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with offshore teams and update process documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of monthly tasks and escalate issues as needed.
What You Need to Have
- Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reports.
- Prior experience working with financial statement data (preferred).
- A second language is advantageous.
