Overview
Join Barclays as a Data Scientist in Fraud Analytics, where you’ll drive innovation by applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to strengthen our fraud detection systems. Your expertise will help detect and deter fraud, protect our clients, and optimise our analytics services across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Identify, collect, and extract data from multiple sources.
- Perform data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation.
- Develop and maintain efficient automated data pipelines.
- Build predictive and statistical models to analyse risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver value through Data Science.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in SAS, Python, or similar programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of fraud detection systems.
- Hands-on experience with large and complex datasets.
Preferred Skills
- Background in statistics, mathematics, or fraud analytics.
- Familiarity with Barclays Plc businesses.
