With nearly 600,000 daily viewers across Facebook, YouTube, and Runner TV, the organisation delivers breaking news, live shows, talk programmes, special reports, and original Bangla-language content.
As the platform expands, we are strengthening our creative team and seeking an experienced Graphic Designer who can elevate our visual output across all formats. Experience in video editing is a strong advantage.
Job Summary
This role is ideal for a fast, creative thinker with strong design instincts and the ability to translate briefs into high-impact digital and broadcast content. You’ll help shape Runner Media’s visual identity across news, social media, online video, and branding.
Key Responsibilities
- Design high-quality graphics, thumbnails, lower-thirds, intros, stings, and branded motion packages.
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and broadcast.
- Produce animations, motion graphics, and mixed-media content for social platforms and live shows.
- Interpret briefs and deliver polished work under tight deadlines.
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs.
- Lead selected creative projects from concept to final delivery.
- Contribute ideas for marketing, promotional, and advertising campaigns.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Degree in Graphics Design, Multimedia, Film Production, Video Editing, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a newsroom, TV channel, or digital-first media organisation.
- Fluent in Bangla (spoken, written, and typed using AVRO & Unicode).
- Previous experience in a Bengali media organisation is highly preferable.
Technical Skills Required
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, CapCut.
- Strong visual storytelling, pacing, and news-style editing.
- Expertise in short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and motion design.
- Ability to use kinetic text, fast cuts, memes, and mixed-media styles.
- Ability to source/edit music, sound effects, and archival footage.
- Capability to design for print (brochures, leaflets, magazines, menus).
- Basic camera operation skills.
