We’re looking for a Head of Business Management to join our Group Functions IT (GFIT) team – a central function that plays a critical role in shaping the future of our technology operations.

In this high-impact role, you’ll be at the heart of our IT leadership team, responsible for delivering best-in-class business operations, financial performance, and workforce planning.

Role

  • Leading cross-functional initiatives and championing operational improvements across Group Functions IT
  • Managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost optimisation activities
  • Shaping and delivering the annual operating plan aligned with strategic priorities
  • Overseeing workforce planning, recruitment strategy and resource management
  • Driving innovation and continuous improvement to enhance user experience and efficiency
  • Owning and evolving the internal and external communication strategy
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to align on strategic goals and service delivery
  • Supporting and developing a high-performing Business Management team

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in financial and operational management within an IT environment
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams
  • Proven ability to analyse and present management information to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience in workforce planning and resource management in Agile and Waterfall settings
  • A strategic thinker with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Knowledge of IT governance, supplier management and performance metrics
  • Familiarity with automation, AI and Microsoft 365 tools (desirable)
