About the Role

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a strategic and service-oriented leader to join as Head of Data Deployment & Risk Management.

This Vice President-level position is focused on ensuring safe, efficient, and standards-driven change across enterprise data platforms. Unlike a hands-on technical role, this opportunity emphasizes service transition, governance, and stakeholder engagement, while overseeing risk management across large-scale deployments.

You will lead an experienced team (currently two Vice Presidents, with potential growth to ten reports), ensuring operational safety, consistency, and service quality.

 Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a service transition framework for data platform changes
  • Govern and oversee hundreds of monthly deployments with risk controls
  • Standardize change and release processes across engineering teams
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain safe deployment practices
  • Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing team
  • Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and resilience
  • Support strategic planning and resource allocation

Required Experience

  • Proven expertise in change & risk management within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS certification desirable)
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile frameworks & modern testing environments
  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Experience in service framework design and operational processes

Desirable Skills

  • Risk management certifications
  • Exposure to DevOps / CI/CD practices
  • Background in service design and transition
