About the Role
Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a strategic and service-oriented leader to join as Head of Data Deployment & Risk Management.
This Vice President-level position is focused on ensuring safe, efficient, and standards-driven change across enterprise data platforms. Unlike a hands-on technical role, this opportunity emphasizes service transition, governance, and stakeholder engagement, while overseeing risk management across large-scale deployments.
You will lead an experienced team (currently two Vice Presidents, with potential growth to ten reports), ensuring operational safety, consistency, and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a service transition framework for data platform changes
- Govern and oversee hundreds of monthly deployments with risk controls
- Standardize change and release processes across engineering teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain safe deployment practices
- Manage, mentor, and scale a high-performing team
- Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and resilience
- Support strategic planning and resource allocation
Required Experience
- Proven expertise in change & risk management within financial services
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS certification desirable)
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile frameworks & modern testing environments
- Track record of leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders
- Experience in service framework design and operational processes
Desirable Skills
- Risk management certifications
- Exposure to DevOps / CI/CD practices
- Background in service design and transition
