Salary: £90,000 – £97,000 + benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours/week)

About the Role
Cancer Research UK is looking for a **Head of Data Science, Analytics and Reporting** to lead its Data Science, Analytics, and Reporting teams within the Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement (MFE) directorate.
You will:
- Drive data-led decision-making across MFE.
- Lead the transition from legacy systems to a scalable, future-fit tech stack.
- Provide technical leadership for data modelling, analytics, and reporting initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams to create integrated performance insights.
- Champion automation and best practices, including GenAI adoption.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead Data, Insight & Performance teams to deliver insights, analytics, and reporting. – Ensure repeat requests are automated and resources focus on impactful projects. – Support digital marketing through enhanced data analysis and measurement. – Build and nurture a high-performing, engaged data team. – Stay ahead of industry trends and drive innovation.
Skills & Experience Required
– Senior leadership experience at Head level or above in complex B2C marketing organisations. – Expertise in SQL, Python, Snowflake, PowerBI, Databricks, GA. – Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning (supervised & unsupervised), and MLOps. – Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. – Experience developing high-performing data teams.
