Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in various healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents or patients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding
- Support healthcare professionals in administering treatments and medications
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and care provided
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Follow care plans to ensure individualized and holistic care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when required
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
Skills & Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with care home environments and procedures
- Basic IT skills for documentation and systems use
- Understanding and implementing care plans
- Experience in home care or similar settings (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license OR ability to travel independently
- Proficient in English
