Overview
Unipuler is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant / Support Worker to provide personalised care within care homes and home-care environments. You will support clients with daily living needs while ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort. A valid driving licence is advantageous for community-based support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and mobility
- Support and review individualised care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate digital care records
- Assist with medication as directed
- Support with meal prep, light housekeeping, and errands
- Drive or escort clients when required
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and families
- Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding procedures
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior care experience desirable but not required (training provided)
- Strong IT skills for digital care documentation
- Clear and confident English communication
- Empathy, patience, professionalism, and teamwork
- Driving licence advantageous
