We are seeking compassionate, caring, dedicated, and experienced Domiciliary Care Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a caring nature and a genuine interest in improving the quality of life for those in need.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred care, enabling clients to maintain independence and quality of life.
Candidates must hold a UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle with business insurance.
Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Medication Management: Prompt or assist in giving medication as prescribed.
- Practical Support: Help with meal preparation, light household tasks, and shopping.
- Companionship: Provide social interaction and emotional support.
- Care Plans: Follow individual care plans developed by healthcare professionals.
- Recording and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
Requirements
- Experience in domiciliary care settings is essential.
- Knowledge of patient care practices and principles.
- Reliability and punctuality for consistent care delivery.
- Relevant training certification – Care Certificate, NVQ, or other healthcare qualifications.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and role demands.
