Overview
We’re looking for a dedicated Hotel Services Assistant (Domestic Cleaning Assistant) to join our friendly team at Ilkeston Community Hospital. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Full training will be provided, so while experience is desirable, it’s not essential.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality cleaning services following national standards of cleanliness.
- Work individually or as part of a team to ensure a safe, hygienic environment.
- Be flexible and willing to work at other sites if required.
Essential Requirements
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills (or willingness to work toward them).
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Access to reliable transport.
Desirable: Basic Health & Safety Certificate, NVQ in Cleaning, NHS experience.
