Location: St Mary’s Hospital, London
Salary: £37,259 – £45,356 per annum (inclusive)
Contract: Permanent | Full-time | 37.5 hours per week

Overview

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is looking for a highly motivated ICT Service Helpdesk Analyst to join its IT team. You will provide first-line IT support across the Trust, ensuring effective incident management and professional customer service.

The role requires excellent communication skills, strong IT troubleshooting experience, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider support team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and log IT service desk calls professionally.
  • Deliver 60% first-line call resolution.
  • Manage network and application account resets.
  • Allocate work to ICT support teams.
  • Escalate incidents to 2nd/3rd line support as required.
  • Provide out-of-hours on-call support when necessary.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a large organisation (3,000+ PCs).
  • 2+ years working with Active Directory, Windows OS, PC hardware, and MS Office.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation.
  • Team player who can also work independently.

Desirable:

  • NHS IT or clinical systems support experience.
