Overview
This isn’t just a job about shelving books – it’s about supporting people and making a difference.
As an Information Assistant, you’ll be the go-to person for our library users. You’ll handle a wide range of enquiries, both face-to-face and online. Some days you’ll be helping someone get online or use software, and other days you’ll be directing specialist queries to colleagues.
Every shift will bring variety, and you’ll be part of a rota that keeps things fresh.
Working hours include:
- Saturdays (9am–5pm, 36 weeks)
- Sundays (2pm–7pm, 34 weeks)
- Mon/Tues/Wed evenings (3 hours, 36 weeks)
- 8 summer Saturdays (4 hours each)
Requirement
- Great customer service skills.
- Confidence using IT systems.
- Experience supporting people in a busy environment.
- A positive, team-focused attitude.
