Role overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to build your IT and Audio Visual (AV) career within a world-leading research and teaching university.
You’ll join a supportive, skilled team providing 1st and 2nd line IT and AV support to staff and students. Every day will be different — from solving software and hardware issues to helping create a high-quality digital experience across campus.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advice and troubleshooting for hardware, operating systems, and AV equipment
- Investigating and carrying out basic hardware and AV repairs
- Assisting with deployment of IT and AV equipment to teaching and learning spaces
- Developing knowledge base and self-help guides
- Supporting small projects and process improvements
About You
You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoy solving technical challenges.
You should have:
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Understanding of Windows, macOS, mobile platforms, or AV systems
- Experience with common Office software
- A self-motivated, team-oriented mindset
- The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Ideally, some experience with hardware repair
