About the Role
QBE Europe is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join its Transformation and Technology team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale modernisation initiatives within a leading global insurance organisation.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, define requirements, and deliver high-value solutions that improve customer outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Focus
- Put customer needs at the centre of all analysis activities
- Anticipate future challenges and opportunities to deliver long-term value
- Analyse and challenge business problems to uncover true requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Owners, Developers, Testers, and Architects
- Align business and technology strategies to prioritise outcomes
Business & Systems Analysis
- Break down complex requirements into epics, user stories, and business requirements
- Define and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop process maps, data models, and target operating models
- Support testing, validation, and acceptance of delivered solutions
Agile & Continuous Improvement
- Participate actively in Agile and DevOps ceremonies
- Drive continuous improvement within delivery teams
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks
About You
- Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Strong stakeholder engagement and change management skills
- Insurance industry experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working in Agile and DevOps environments
- Ability to manage ambiguity in fast-paced environments
- Experience mentoring or coaching analysts
- Relevant professional qualification (desirable)
