Overview

The IT Reporting Analyst will maintain, improve, and monitor itsu’s data infrastructure and reporting environment. You will gather business requirements, manage development backlogs, handle incident management, and support data-driven projects that transform the way data is collected, stored, processed, and used.

Skills & Responsibilities Overview

1. Data Architecture & Management

  • Document current data architecture.
  • Support new reporting capabilities.
  • Manage third-party data warehouse providers.

2. Requirement Gathering & Prioritisation

  • Collect and prioritise requirements.
  • Manage the reporting development backlog.
  • Design reports and dashboards.

3. Data Analysis & Insights

  • Build and maintain data models, ETL processes, and pipelines.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity.

4. Technical Expertise

  • Use SQL, Python, and Spark for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Build visualisations with Power BI.
  • Support testing and prepare Runbooks for system changes.

5. Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with IT teams.
  • Manage incidents affecting data/reporting.
  • Provide 2nd-line support for the data warehouse and reporting systems.

Core Responsibilities

  • Define data architecture and strategy with the Enterprise Applications Manager.
  • Manage and support third-party data warehouse partners.
  • Develop and prioritise reporting and data requirements.
  • Support forecasting solutions, including automated or ML-based models.
  • Translate business needs into actionable reporting and insights.
  • Maintain data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
  • Produce documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Keep up with industry trends and reporting best practices.
  • Support new technical capabilities across operations, forecasting, back-office systems, MDM, and new data platforms.
  • Prepare Runbooks and secure sign-off before system changes.
  • Provide 2nd-line support for data warehouse and infrastructure issues.

About You

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
  • 3+ years’ experience as a reporting analyst or a similar role.
  • Skilled in Power BI (preferred).
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or Spark (preferred).
  • Experienced in ETL, data modelling, and data warehousing.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Retail or QSR experience is an advantage.
  • Customer-focused and detail-oriented.
