Team Overview
Impinj is seeking an IT Help Desk Intern to join its Help Desk team. This role works closely with IT Support Analysts and employees across the organization, providing hands-on experience in technical support, device management, and enterprise IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
User Support
- Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, and in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Assist with network connectivity issues including Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN/WAN
- Provide secure technical support for remote users
Asset & Facilities Support
- Track inventory and manage equipment lifecycle
- Check in returned equipment and prepare devices for redeployment
- Ensure conference rooms function correctly
- Provide IT support for internal company events
Endpoint Provisioning
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
- Apply security patches and system updates
Account Management
- Assist with managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Support Active Directory and other enterprise systems
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Hourly pay range: $26.00 – $40.00
