About the Role
ISS Facility Services is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support collaborative bid teams in developing competitive and financially robust solutions for long-term contracts.
You’ll work closely with the Solutions Director, Bid Managers, and wider teams, contributing to all aspects of costing, financial modelling, and commercial risk analysis throughout the bid lifecycle. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and a commercial mindset.
Responsibilities
- Manage pricing and commercial risk aspects of bids.
- Own the accuracy of cost and pricing submissions.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies that balance profitability.
- Analyse bid documents for risks, opportunities, and requirements.
- Prepare P&Ls and cashflows for stakeholders.
- Liaise with suppliers, procurement, and operations teams.
- Benchmark internal and external data to strengthen competitiveness.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Degree or recognised qualifications with technical competence.
- Experience in estimating within Facilities Management or a related industry.
- Track record in data analysis, costing, and supporting winning bids.
- Strong commercial awareness, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident with financial modelling, P&Ls, and cashflows.
- Experience with private and public sector procurement (e.g., NHS, Crown Commercial Services).
