About the Role
As a Junior Market Data Services Analyst, you will provide commercial administrative support for global business partners and help manage MDS spend. This includes inventory management using Optimize Spend (formerly F.I.T.S.), vendor invoice processing, contract review, and vendor relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and verify against contractual obligations
- Resolve billing queries with vendors and update MDS inventory systems
- Support the management of over $135M global MDS spend
- Assist with vendor management, procurement, and contract processing
- Coordinate with Technology Product & Support managers for new service onboarding
- Assist internal teams with data requests and access
Requirements
- Experience in Market Data Services administration within the investment industry
- Vendor invoicing and MDS business knowledge
- Experience with MDS inventory systems (Optimize Spend preferred)
- Familiarity with major vendors: Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv, Exchanges, Rating Agencies, Research vendors
- Understanding of vendor contract language and broker soft $ methodology (advantageous)
- Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working under deadlines
- Degree or equivalent relevant Market Data experience
