Junior WordPress Developer (Support)

About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior WordPress Support Developer to join our support team. You’ll help keep client websites running smoothly, troubleshoot issues, and learn from experienced developers in a collaborative, fully remote environment.
This role is ideal for someone with some WordPress experience who wants hands-on experience supporting real clients, improving technical skills, and growing into a full-stack developer over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitor and troubleshoot client WordPress websites
- Diagnose and fix small bugs, plugin conflicts, and performance issues
- Assist with plugin updates, theme adjustments, and routine maintenance
- Collaborate with senior developers to learn WordPress best practices
- Participate in testing, QA, and debugging to ensure site stability and security
- Document issues and solutions clearly for internal knowledge sharing
- Occasionally assist with small enhancements or internal tools
Requirements
- Experience building, maintaining, or customizing WordPress websites
- Basic knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with MySQL and basic database concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow as a developer
- Good communication skills and a client-focused attitude
Bonus Skills
- Experience with WooCommerce support
- Familiarity with Git or version control
- Interest in learning frameworks such as Laravel
