Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Laundry Assistant to join our team at Swansea Laundry. You’ll be part of a busy production environment processing linen for hospitals and healthcare premises across South West Wales.
Key Responsibilities
- Working in all sections of the laundry, from receiving and sorting soiled/infectious linen to dispatching clean linen.
- Operating in designated areas such as sorting, wash house, calendars, dry fold, packing, and dispatch.
- Maintaining flexibility to move between roles as required.
Essential Criteria
- Experience working in an industrial or factory production environment.
- Good standard of general education.
Desirable:
- Previous commercial or healthcare laundry experience.
- Laundry-specific qualification.
- Ability to speak Welsh (Welsh/English speakers equally welcome).
