Position Details

  • Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
  • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Work Schedule: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Location: Remote/Hybrid (Bolton BL2 2JU)

 Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve logistical issues
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including customs paperwork
  • Track and report shipment statuses to stakeholders
  • Optimise routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Maintain accurate logistics records
  • Assist in developing and implementing new logistics processes
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and internal policies

Experience

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or coordination roles
  • Strong understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote/hybrid setting
  • Adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
