About the Role
Join Macquarie’s Market Risk team, where you’ll play a vital role in measuring and managing the firm’s exposure to market fluctuations. You’ll collaborate with trading desks and global teams to ensure risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively.
This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in the London office.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate and report market risk metrics daily to traders and senior management.
- Support new product and limit approvals.
- Investigate and report on major P&L events.
- Monitor global market trends and assess their impact on risk exposure.
- Collaborate with teams in Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, New York, and more.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent stakeholder management.
- Experience interpreting market trends and financial data.
