Overview
Gymshark is looking for a skilled Network Engineer to manage and optimise its global network infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for maintaining uptime, troubleshooting issues, deploying new infrastructure, and supporting a fast-growing international business.
You’ll collaborate with Network Administrators, Senior Engineers, the Network Manager, and third-party vendors to ensure high performance, security, and reliability across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing
Day-to-Day Operations
- Monitor and maintain global network performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly
- Ensure maximum uptime and service reliability
Infrastructure Maintenance
- Perform firmware upgrades and configuration updates
- Maintain compliance with security policies
- Apply patches, updates, and backups
Installation and Deployment
- Plan, install, and configure new network systems
- Oversee testing and validation processes
- Ensure smooth integration with existing infrastructure
Collaboration and Leadership
- Coordinate Administrators and support teams
- Align with senior engineers and the Network Manager
- Mentor junior team members
- Provide hands-on project and operational support
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate configuration records
- Track performance metrics
- Report on issues and improvements
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance tools and processes
- Improve operational efficiency and reliability
What You’ll Need
Essential
- Strong experience in network engineering
- Advanced knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing network security and compliance
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Mentorship experience
Desirable Certifications
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (CMSS)
