Overview
Black Country Housing Group is recruiting a Night Care Assistant to join the team at New Bradley Hall, a modern, purpose-built, dementia-friendly residential care home in Kingswinford.
The role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment, ensuring residents’ comfort, dignity, and independence throughout the night.
About New Bradley Hall
New Bradley Hall is a stylish and homely care facility with 66 en-suite rooms across three floors, designed to promote independence and wellbeing. The home features multiple lounges and quiet rooms, a purpose-built cinema room, on-site hairdressing facilities, and a café area.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including toileting, bathing, and night-time support in line with individual care plans
- Support residents in getting up and going to bed using best-interest decisions
- Monitor residents’ physical and mental wellbeing and report changes promptly
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records
- Ensure dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
- Assist with light cleaning, laundry, bed making, and room tidying with resident consent
- Support unsettled residents overnight and assist with meals and refreshments as required
Essential Requirements
- Experience working in a care environment or similar
- NVQ Level 2 in Adult Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
- Basic understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards
- Understanding of care plans, risk assessments, and resident rights

- Experience supporting people living with dementia or age-related conditions
