About the Role
As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key leadership role during night shifts, ensuring residents receive exceptional care while supporting and guiding your team.
You will coordinate shifts, lead by example, and maintain a calm, caring, and efficient atmosphere throughout the home.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and Coordinate
- Ensure smooth running of the home during night shifts
- Delegate tasks effectively and support team members
Resident Support
- Assist with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility
- Promote dignity, independence, and person-centred care
Medication Management
- Oversee ordering, administration, and accurate documentation
- Maintain compliance with medication protocols
Communication
- Engage effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
Team Collaboration
- Foster inclusivity, respect, and team spirit
Emergency Response
- Respond promptly to call bells and emergencies
Documentation
- Update care plans, risk assessments, and case notes
Professional Development
- Attend training and e-learning sessions
Health & Safety
- Follow all policies including COSHH and escalate concerns appropriately
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
- Or actively working towards Level 3
Medication Training
- Practical Medication Administration with competencies
Leadership Skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and delegate effectively
