Performance Data Analysts – AVASK
Location: Southampton (Hybrid – minimum 3 days in the office)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per year (DOE)

About the Role
AVASK is looking for an experienced Performance Data Analyst to join our Operations team. You’ll collaborate with managers and team leads to develop and automate data handling and business intelligence frameworks.
This is a key position where you will drive data automation and governance, shaping how data is structured, secured, and leveraged across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead automation and optimisation of existing data workflows.
- Design and implement scalable data processes.
- Extract, transform, and prepare data using SQL, Power BI, and Power Query.
- Act as the subject matter expert for data management and analysis.
- Translate complex findings into actionable insights for various teams.
- Support Finance and Operations teams with advanced data transformations.
- Contribute to the development of data governance and compliance frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to align data strategy with business goals.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a data-centric role (Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, etc.)
- Proven ability to deliver automated and scalable data solutions.
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Zoho CRM, Dynamics 365 CE, or Salesforce.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Proficient in SQL – writing, optimising, and automating queries.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho Analytics dashboards and reports.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks).
- Strong knowledge of data modelling and relational databases.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Desirable
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with data pipeline automation and advanced data integration tools.
