Turn insight into impact at Middlesex University. We are seeking a Planning Analyst to join our newly formed Planning and Analytics team within the Strategic Planning and Performance Directorate. This is an opportunity to shape the future of planning and performance in a diverse and ambitious university.

 Responsibilities

  • Partner with academic faculties and professional services to support evidence-based planning.
  • Lead performance monitoring and KPI reporting to inform senior leadership decisions.
  • Analyse internal and external data for institutional performance, benchmarking, and trends.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and predictive models using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Support strategic forecasting, scenario planning, and risk analysis.
  • Drive innovation and embed a culture of data-driven planning.

You will bring:

  • Experience in planning, analytics, or business intelligence in higher education or a complex environment.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills plus experience with data visualisation tools.
  • A collaborative approach, with confidence to engage stakeholders.
  • A passion for turning data into actionable insight.
