Role Overview
The AA is seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to transform complex data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. This role combines strong technical capability with close stakeholder collaboration, delivering scalable and visually compelling Power BI solutions across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable and engaging Power BI dashboards
- Build and maintain semantic models to ensure consistent reporting
- Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis and dashboard support
- Automate reporting pipelines and optimise dashboard performance
- Document solutions for technical and non-technical audiences
- Facilitate workshops and demonstrations to drive adoption
- Support self-service analytics across the business
- Promote Power BI governance and UX standards
- Provide training and enablement to stakeholders
- Contribute within an Agile delivery environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI solutions
- Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and performance optimisation
- Advanced SQL skills (BigQuery or Databricks experience is an advantage)
- Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and BI architecture
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A collaborative, proactive approach to data-driven problem solving
