Power BI Specialist
Location: Manchester, England
Salary: £35,000 – £49,000 (Glassdoor Estimate)
Contract: Full-time, Remote-first with occasional office visits
Overview
Ryan UK Property Tax is offering an exciting opportunity for a Power BI Developer to join the Tax team in Manchester. This role is primarily remote with some ad hoc office requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards on Microsoft Dynamics for UK Tax business units.
- Review and validate data for accuracy.
- Translate business needs into detailed report specifications.
- Standardize reporting across teams and enable staff to self-serve.
- Work with Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, or Databricks to support scalable reporting.
Business Intelligence
- Conduct BI reviews with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics.
- Present actionable insights to senior management to drive strategy.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Support data pipelines using Azure or Databricks for transformation and analysis.
Problem Solving
- Analyze diverse datasets, identifying patterns and trends.
- Provide forecasts and data-driven recommendations.
- Apply independent judgment while collaborating with key stakeholders.
Key Qualifications
- Experience in business intelligence, IT support, data science, or analytics.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate.
- Proficiency with SQL, ETL, DAX, and data modelling.
- (Desirable) Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks.
- Skilled at producing datasets and presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
