About the Role
Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking two Principal Finance Officers to join their friendly and dynamic Finance Team. These roles provide vital financial support across a range of Council services, supporting either Children’s Services or Adult Services. You’ll work closely with managers to assess financial needs, provide expert advice, maintain accurate accounts, and prepare reports and statements on time.
Who We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified CCAB Accountant or AAT with at least five years’ relevant experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong communication, teamwork, and initiative
