Job Overview

The Project Admin Officer will join the Digital and Workforce Productivity Solutions (DWPS) team, supporting programmes and projects that enhance service delivery, performance, and transformation across NWSSP and NHS Wales. The role involves providing high-quality administrative and project support, maintaining project documentation, coordinating meetings, and serving as the first point of contact for the DWPS team and its stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for the DWPS team.
  • Act as the first point of contact for service users and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.
  • Maintain project documentation such as action logs, risk registers, and project plans.
  • Support Project and Programme Managers across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage diverse workloads and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Essential:

  • HNC in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven administrative and project support experience.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable:

  • Qualification or experience in Business Improvement Techniques or Project Management.
  • Experience in an NHS environment.
  • Knowledge of ESR or programme office functions.
  • Welsh language skills (desirable but not essential).
