Overview
If you’re fascinated by how large language models think, reason, and respond, this internship offers hands-on experience with applied generative AI. As a Prompt Engineer Intern, you’ll design, refine, and evaluate prompts that improve automation, coding workflows, documentation, and internal knowledge systems at Flo Labs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and iterate prompts for code generation, documentation, and automated workflows
- Evaluate LLM outputs, tracking accuracy and failure modes
- Research advanced prompting techniques (few-shot, contextual templates, reasoning scaffolds)
- Build prompt libraries, guidelines, and internal documentation
- Collaborate with AI researchers, engineers, and product teams
- Support evaluation and optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Familiarity with LLMs, NLP concepts, or AI tools (preferred)
- Experience with prompt design or AI experimentation (plus)
- Python or JavaScript knowledge is a plus
- Passion for generative AI and model optimization
