Overview

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Provide person-centred, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care

Work Locations

Tamworth:

  • New 37-bed Mental Health Unit opening March 2026
  • Areas: 20-bed adult, 5-bed adult high-acuity, 8-bed older persons, 4-bed adolescent
  • Child & Adolescent Community Mental Health Services on site
  • Facility co-designed with staff, carers, consumers, and local Indigenous communities
  • Modern, sustainable design with calming light-filled atriums, solar panels, and 5-star energy rating

Manning (Taree):

  • Riverside town in the Manning Valley, close to beaches, hinterlands, and national parks
  • Affordable living, excellent schools, and strong community spirit

  • Gateway to Barrington Tops National Park — waterfalls, rainforest hikes, alpine air

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Valid or eligible ANMAC assessment under ANZSCO 254422
  • NSW Driver’s Licence (or ability to obtain)
  • Willingness to relocate and commit to a minimum 18-month contract
  • Visa Sponsorship: Available for eligible overseas candidates who have AHPRA registration and positive ANMAC skills assessment
