Remote Accountant for Healthcare Practice
Position: Remote EXPERIENCED Accountant
Location: Work from Home
We are a reputable mental healthcare practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients both remotely via telemedicine and in-person. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team remotely.
Key Responsibilities
– Perform general bookkeeping and accounting duties
– Manage financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
– Handle depreciation schedules and asset management
– Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports – including cash flows
– Conduct regular reconciliations and audits
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
– Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all financial transactions
-Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and reconciling accounts.
-Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
– Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
– Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
– Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
– Collaborate with other team members (Healthcare Billing Team) and clients to provide financial insights and support.
**Qualifications**:
– Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping up to trial balance.
– Must be a qualified accountant (CPA or equivalent or have relevant years of experience with a bachelor’s degree)
– Proficiency in accounting software, with QuickBooks knowledge is a MAJOR
REQUIREMENT.
– Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting
– Strong understanding of depreciation in bookkeeping
– Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to work independently and remotely
– Ability to report company financials to stakeholders
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
