Job Introduction
Due to internal promotion, Lincolnshire County Council has an exciting opportunity to join The Beacon Children’s Residential Care Home as a Senior Carer (Residential Care Officer Level 3).
This role plays a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children and young people who have experienced trauma, adversity, and complex needs.
About the Role
- Provide trauma-informed, therapeutic care based on attachment theory and social pedagogy.
- Lead and supervise a team of 50+ carers as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Work with multidisciplinary professionals, including Complex Needs Mental Health Link Workers.
- Develop and implement personalised therapeutic care plans.

Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent).
- Strong IT literacy and communication skills.
