Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for several Business Analysts (BA’s) to join our Digital Business Analysis Team within the Cloud, Digital and Integration (CD&I) Community, part of our Chief Operating Office.

The Digital business is a significant part of Nationwide’s service offering. With 5M active users of our Banking App and Internet Bank, we enable members to manage their daily banking needs. We are embarking on a journey to completely reimagine and redevelop our Banking App, using innovative technologies for authentication, service integration, and leveraging cloud capabilities.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll work closely with other BAs, building strong relationships across inclusive and diverse change teams. You’ll be accountable for scoping, planning, and analysis, defining outcomes, translating business content into deliverables, and supporting successful completion of OKRs.

You’ll bring a proactive mindset, identifying and resolving risks, while striving for continuous development. Collaboration with change leaders across Nationwide will be key to influencing dependencies and driving business outcomes.

This role may also include line management responsibilities for developing junior analysts.

Nationwide supports hybrid working, with colleagues typically spending at least two days per week in the office (Swindon or London).

About You

  • Experience in business analysis or solution design, ideally within financial services.
  • Strong ability to define business outcomes and requirements in a digital delivery environment.
  • Skilled in business solution/analysis techniques, tools, and methods.
  • Understanding of compliance and governance within a rapid delivery environment.
  • Ability to work with diverse multi-disciplinary teams, including third-party suppliers.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end business service & process design and technology enablement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence to influence outcomes.
